| Review: Very enjoyable flick coming of age. Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso and Moises Arias plays three teenagers in the summer after my freshman year of high school. Robinson and Basso in particular, have become increasingly dissatisfied with my parents (Nick Offerman, his best film role currently played rough Robinson, a single father, and Megan Mullally (wife Offerman) and Marc Evan Jackson Bassam plays ditzy adult ). They decide to escape to build a house deep in the woods and live with him. The film is oddly funny (or annoying) way, and the first half is about the funniest thing Ive seen all year. On the other side is a little more dramatic and perhaps more conventional Erin Moriarty, a girl is in love with Robinson reveals plan for boys and start to hang out with them. It becomes Basso place without disturbing friendship. Somehow I still have a comic, but it's still pretty good. Performances here are ace. Offerman is probably the best. No, this is not much different role than Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation series, but hes been given a lot of depth. The funniest sequence in the film, their quarrel with the package, Kumail Nanjian (huge comic talent, potential, of course, becomes a reality, the most likely network sitcom) the amount of its restaurants dumplings. Children, Arias gets the most laughs as the goofy looking kid, which is often confused with Psycho. Alison Brie of Community and Mad Men fame, will also appear as Robinson older sister, but unfortunately it does not have much to do. The film is very well directed and filmed. I especially liked the use of slow motion. This is a keeper. |
