| Review: I'm not saying that the first film was genius Smurfs movie, but was tolerable paktëni. Smurfs 2, for an adult, is painfully boring. My Fëmijëte (ages 9 and 5) liked it, so I think it is good for young children. But honestly, I have seen many movies for kids in the past, and there is usually at least an element of humor there that adults can ge pose and enjoy too.The not the case here. The plot feels very artificial and prolonged. Humor revolves mainly visual jokes and fart jokes, implied nudity, and oh look, I'm falling and breaking something range. While they did to good effect in Shrek was embaraçosamente wrong here. They gave cat Azrael a major role in this, but it came across as annoying to most partAll in all, a film good for young children, but adults, be prepared to be bored out of your mind! |
